Valorant team

Noob Esports is proud to compete in the VCT Valorant scene at the highest level of Oceanic play. With a mix of rising stars, seasoned competitors, and a strong support team behind them, this roster is ready to make waves in 2025 and beyond.

Walli
IGL/Controller

Walli is the IGL and controller player for Noob Esports, known for his creative and free-flowing playstyle. He adapts quickly in high-pressure moments and isn’t afraid to shift strategies on the fly to keep his team one step ahead. Beyond his in-game decision making, Walli brings a positive energy to every match. His calm presence helps keep teammates focused and composed, even in the most intense situations.Walli also brings a wealth of competitive experience. Before joining Noob Esports, he competed in VCL and played for several teams including Where’s Walli, Red Panda, and Bandits ESC. That background has shaped his understanding of the game and strengthened his ability to lead effectively. He stays competitive and focused on success, but keeps a relaxed mindset that allows him to bounce back quickly from tough losses. Outside the game, Walli is a huge football fan and a proud Arsenal supporter. With strong leadership, experience, and great team energy, Walli is the kind of all-round player any roster would be lucky to have.

Kyun
Initiator

Kyun is the player you call when you need a voice of reason in the middle of chaos—or the one to bring a little controlled chaos when things need spicing up. 😉 He has competed in three seasons of LPL Pathfinder, played in the Challengers League, and taken part in various tournaments along the way. Throughout his competitive journey, Kyun has played for Wolfpack, Bandit ESC, Arcade Esports, and Exsto Gaming. These experiences have given him a broad understanding of different playstyles, team dynamics, and levels of competition. His own personal playstyle is methodical, learning how the other team works and making the game as annoying as possible for them. Taking his opponents by surprise and tilting them to provide his team better chances. He’s highly adaptable, able to work with a wide range of teammates while developing the synergy needed to build strong team compositions. Fun fact: Kyun is Canadian and can snowboard and ice skate, making him an all-rounder both in-game and off.

Ixidal
Flex

Ixidal, or Ixi, is the teams duelist player. Ixi is a Valorant superstar, having been Radiant multiple times and holding a spot there. He has plenty of team work and team lead skills, having been team captain on the UNSW Esports Club Valorant Roar for three years. Ixi is always locked into the game, fragging for his team and sometimes, baiting them. He has an explosive energy and gameplay, hyping up his team and ensuring the vibes are also high. Ixidal is sometimes known as sexidal for his incredible gameplays and fragging skills, but he will never live down the cypher trip incident. Ixi is a chill guy and one thing you can count on, is he will always be raring to go and supporting his team.

In the words of Ixi, “bro, the timing, are you fked?”

Lucid
Assistant Coach

Meet Assistant Coach Lucid!
Well-versed in the esports scene, Lucid is stepping into the competitive spotlight for the first time as a coach. Their passion for analysis grew from studying top-level play in the VCT—especially the former SPG roster now under Nongshim RedForce, whose sharp and innovative playstyles inspired Lucid’s approach.

Driven and ambitious, Lucid aims to deepen their esports expertise with the long-term goal of reaching Tier 1 or Tier 2 competition. Their coaching style is direct yet supportive, always focused on growth, teamwork, and creating an environment where the grind stays fun. Bao Bao
Sentinal/Flex

A player who can switch seamlessly between aggression and patience, always keeping opponents guessing, meet Bao Bao, the team’s sentinel. Bao brings more than just skill to the roster; he brings a sense of family. Known for his humour and natural ability to connect with people, he helps unify the team and keep morale high. Competitive by nature and deeply knowledgeable about esports, having previously played for Obsidian, Goal Diggers, and Revive. Bao has competed in tournaments such as the Acer Predators, and WaveOce events, where his team remained undefeated all the way to the finals. Despite his strong competitive background, Bao is currently the only player on the roster yet to reach Radiant, something he is determined to change in the coming season. Bao excels as a confident lurker, using patience, timing, and game sense to create opportunities for his team. Off the server, his friendly personality, positive attitude, and great sense of humour make him an invaluable teammate.

Tek
Duelist

Tek brings unmatched hype to the team, his energy and enthusiasm make him impossible to miss in the crowd. Despite being the youngest player on the roster, Tek is far from inexperienced. He’s been playing FPS games since the age of five, building years of instinct, skill, and game sense. His competitive journey already includes appearances in tournaments hosted by Waveoce and the Acer Predator Tournament. Having already hit Radiant, Tek continues to push limits, showing relentless commitment and defying expectations. Dedicated to his team and confident in his aggressive playstyle, you’ll often see him swinging (a lot) with zero fear, just pure determination to win.
